Horn nocked bamboo arrows

A simple set of 12 horn nocked bamboo arrows, ideal to shoot as they are, or adapt to your style with paint or binding.

Sorry - SOLD!

The shafts and nocks are from the leading bamboo arrow supplier in China, and are straight and well treated. The arrows have been made up so that the string nocks are in line with the nodes. They’ve been sanded and finished with a clear gloss outdoor acrylic varnish.

Due to the nature of horn nocks, please take some time to check that they fit your string without forcing, as they don’t have the elastic properties that plastic moulded nocks have. Some adjustment may be required, which is a simple job with some sandpaper or a nail file.

Bamboo makes extremely durable arrows, and with its natural taper, provides good flight characteristics especially at shorter distances such as field and 3D shooting, as well as indoor target shooting.

Length: 29.5” from back of point to base of nock.

Material: Bamboo

Shaft: approx. 5/16” at the point end, 55-60lb hand spined

Nock: hand shaped horn nock

Fletching: 5" parabolic feathers, black hens, red index

Point: 100 grain parallel fit brass bullet point (suitable for all types of archery).

Weights are between 444-484 grains

These arrows would be suitable for recurve/deflex bows, asiatic recurves (horsebows) or shelf cut flatbows made from modern materials of around 55-65lbs draw. If using bows made entirely out of natural materials please be aware of their light weight and if in doubt check whether your bowyer recommends a minimum arrow weight (these would be around 7.5-8.5 grains/pound depending upon bow style/draw weight).

If you’re unsure of the suitability of these arrows for your bow, please message us.
